Architecture unit

Here is a photo I took of the wave border I painted at the cabin at the beach! It isn't quite finished, but got excited and wanted to share! ALl inside carpentry work is done. I got lots of painting to do and I can't wait to set it up to make it habitable again!
http://www.teachersdomain.org/ This is a great website! I have been using it for the Architecture unit at school with my 4th and 5th graders. The kids loved making gum drop domes this week and we are gathering newspaper to make newspaper chairs...the short video clips are a great way to integrate technology! We watched Bucky Fuller's geodesic and Pantheon this week.
I guess we did not pay our Teachersweb bill, because that link no longer exists and you can't see my classroom or pictures. Sorry! Will try to repost them.
